Please listen carefully to the list of announcements. 1. We continue to celebrate teacher appreciate week this week.  Don’t forget to thank a teacher today!  All staff enjoyed a wonderful luncheon yesterday provided by our wonderful PTA! Thank you PTA moms! 2. Yesterday morning and again this morning our fifth grade students will present a portion of the play they will present tonight and tomorrow night. We will call grades 3-5 down around 9:00 a.m.  Boys and Girls, I am excited to see Aladdin in its entirety tonight or tomorrow night! 3. Students please ask your parents to save the following dates on their calendars:  May 13: Our Parent Bullying Night, May 21: Evening of the Arts at East Vincent, and May 29: Author Night.  We welcome all families who will be new to our school next year, and also those of you who are students at our school now, but will be attending another school in the fall.  4. Teachers please remember to send your attendance to the office by 9:00 am. 5. Please help your parents make sure you are to school on time.  When you are tardy, you miss the morning announcements and very important instruction from your teacher!  Also, remember that healthy breakfast before you come to school. 6. Happy Birthday to everyone who has a birthday today!  If you have a birthday today, please come to the office for your gift. • Remember to treat each other kindly and with respect.  Remember you are here to learn, and you can help someone learn today! May 6, 2008 Good Morning East Vincent Elementary Students and Staff. We also welcome all parents and guests who are visiting us this morning. Today is Monday, May 5, 2008. Please listen carefully to the list of announcements. 1. Our East Vincent Reading Olympics teams did very well at the Chester County Reading Olympics competition last week. Thank you EV teachers and EV boys and girls for representing our school.  2. Fifth grade will represent us well at the Warwick Park outing today.  3. Thank Girl Scouts for keeping our school beautiful.  On Friday, May 2 the Girl Scouts and their moms enjoyed working to spruce up the garden at the gym entrance.  They removed weeds, edged and planted lots of pansies and petunias.
